When you hire any Products from Wandering Picture Booth, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with us based on these Terms and conditions. If you do not agree to the Terms you may wish to look elsewhere….. Bon voyage!
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and will notify you immediately if you have a confirmed booking with us. An email with revised T&C’S will be sent to you toot sweet so you are kept in the loop.

Products and booking
The Magic mirror and Wanda are intended and provided as entertainment and should not be relied upon or intended to be your primary source of event photos. All Products shown on our Site are subject to availability. In the avoidance of doubt we will provide our Magic Mirror photo booth service which serves as entertainment for you and your guests who participate.
A booking form must be to be completed and returned by email in order to place a booking. We will confirm receipt of your enquiry via email. If your date is available we will send you a confirmation email outlining our requirements including invoice for deposit (£100 non-refundable) and balance statement for total cost. Your requirements, contact details and details of the Product you have hired. Please ensure you have checked for any errors we cannot be held responsible for your errors. A contract between us will only be formed once we confirm receipt of your deposit. If a Product is no longer available for hire we will inform you of this by email and your order will not be processed, or if a payment was taken you will be refunded for the full amount.
You can pay by bank transfer or by cheque. We will invoice you the full balance confirming all the details for your booking …again please check for any errors as we cannot be held responsible and we would be really upset to get the location or time wrong! The full balance must be settled by the due date on the invoice, (no less than 30 days from event) failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the booking, no refund swiftly followed by debt recovery proceedings.
If you really must cancel your booking please tell us as soon as possible via email or in writing. Unfortunately we do have to charge you sorry! Fees are as follows: 30 days or less 100% total cost of booking, after that deposit is forfeit. If the booth you booked becomes unavailable we will refund all monies paid. Our maximum liability will be the return of all payments received from the Customer. We are not responsible for any consequential damages or lost opportunities upon breach of this agreement.
If you require a date change for your booking please apply for this no less than 30 days before the date of your original booking. Change is subject to photo booth availability and receipt of a new booking contract.
If there is no availability for the alternate date, the deposit shall be forfeited and event cancelled.
Any cancellation will forfeit deposit payment made (£200) we will accommodate wherever possible but if we are already fully booked and cannot change the date of your booking cancellation fees will apply, see above.
We will endeavour to arrive at your venue 1.5 before the start of your event.
Venue permission and access
If you have a guest book we cannot be held responsible if photos do not go in it, our first and foremost concern is making sure everything is tickedy boo and running well with the magic mirror. If you have requested a custom template with your own logo or caption on we cannot be held liable for any errors. If any error is found we will of course endeavour to rectify it, time willing. If this cannot be done an alternative template will be offered.
Due to the nature of temperamental nature of Wi-Fi connections at venues sometimes we cannot guarantee successful uploads to social media such as FB, Twitter and emails. When you are looking at venues look for a steady connection with a speed of 1MB/s. We cannot be held responsible for problems with the Wi-Fi or disruptions with any social media platform. We own all copyright in any image taken by our Products. We are exempt from any liability with respect to publishing the images.
Insurance/ Risk assessments/ pat testing
We have 10 million public liability insurance. All of our equipment is brand new and therefore does not require pat testing as yet. We use an RCD to cut power to our equipment completely if there is any fault whatsoever in the system. Risk assessments available on request
Please ensure you have permission from your venue prior to the event for our booth to be there. If you have hired Wanda please see below for Wanda’s Specification and requirements. We need to know prior to acceptance of your booking whether there are any access restrictions at the venue such as small lifts, steps, escalators etc. In regard to taking equipment up flights of stairs this is only possible if there is a working lift available. Please call for a chat if you are not sure….a couple of steps is fine.
Requirements for Magic selfie mirror
Our Magic mirror is for indoor use only and will need an operational space of 2.5m x 3m. The flooring must be solid and completely level. In a marquee is fine as long as it is dry and there is a working 240v, 13 amp single socket mains power supply to within 3 metres. It is also worth bearing in mind that vibrations from loud speakers can affect the quality of photos. Once our magic mirror is in place she cannot be moved…..so please pick your spot carefully!
Requirements/ access for Wanda
Wanda is an old girl and likes to be comfortably on level ground. She needs a space of at least Length – 5m Width – 3.0m Height – 2.3m. Access into Wanda is via a solid set of two wooden steps (elderly people may need a hand) There is no wheel chair access available as yet, sorry. She comes with her own little porch if the weather is looking dicky.
She has a turning circle of a staggering 11metres!! Obviously there needs to be good access to the venue and reversing out is always an option if things are a little tight. Wanda has her own power supply in the form of a compact generator a sizeable battery bank and 12v lights inside. If mains power is available however we would prefer to utilise that. Please see section on insurance, risk assessments and pat testing for further information regarding the use of Wanda. The company reserves the right to refuse guests admission into the Wanda. No food or drinks can be taken inside Wanda, It would be beneficial if the customer could provide a table for food and drink next to her for wandering guests to put their bubbles on!
Events beyond our Control
In the unlucky event that disaster strikes in the form of weather conditions, car breakdown, severe traffic delays, sickness, equipment failure etc we will contact you as early as possible and a full refund will be made if we cannot attend your event. We reserve the right to cancel any Booking because of adverse weather conditions, again liability is limited to a full refund. Where we are simply late delivering our service for any of the above reasons we will always make up the time you have paid for. If this is not possible for whatever reason a refund will be given in proportion to the time lost.
Problems our end
Murphy’s law states “if something can go wrong, it will go wrong!” Ok so its technology, it can go pear shaped from time to time. In the unlikely event of this occurring at your event don’t panic we have plan B. If it’s a printer thing we can carry on as normal and send you the prints after the event with your USB stick of digital images. If it is a more serious problem e.g. with camera or software we will endeavour to fix it on site. Where we cannot fix a problem a refund will be made in proportion to the time when the technology failed and the hire period paid for e.g. failed 1hr into 4hr hire period = 3hrs hire money back
What we expect from you
We expect to be paid no less than 30 days before your event….C’Mon we are running a business here! That you are over 18. We expect the utmost respect towards our booth attendants and equipment at all times we reserve the right to end the contract and leave site if we feel ourselves or our equipment are in any way in danger. You the customer are responsible for any damages or losses incurred. No refund will be available so behave!
If you have hired Wanda, she does not wish to have children under 12 running riot inside so please make sure the little rascals are supervised. Our attendants will need to keep things running smoothly by changing ink/ paper etc please allow time for this. Also if the hire period is over 4hours our attendants will require a short break…. They get a little grumpy otherwise.
We will be there to start the hire period as agreed on the booking form. If for any reason due to yourselves, venue, access or any other cause we are not in control of, the hire period will remain the same as you booked it for….Starting at the agreed time and finishing at the agreed time. We cannot be held responsible for others blunders. There will be no refund.
